As the tiling began, it was discovered that the contractors were installing the wrong tile. The client notified the contractors, who immediately stopped their work, and left the premises.
Subsequently, the client attempted for several weeks to have the incorrect tile removed, and to obtain a full refund. Upon communication with the national company, the client was told it would cost another three thousand dollars ($3,000) to remove the incorrect tile, and install the correct tile, and that no refund would be provided.
