Our client came to us with a significant number of past misdemeanor and felony charges and convictions that were visible on our client's Massachusetts Criminal Record (CORI). Our client had charges from the 1970s until 2013, all available on his CORI. These charges were in a number of different courts, including Lynn District Court, Malden District Court, Peabody District Court, Woburn District Court, Waltham District Court, Somerville District Court, and the Charlestown Division of the Boston Municipal Court. The charges against our client ranged from Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, to Disorderly Conduct, to Violations of the Wetland Protection Act.
Given the age and nature of our client's record, our client decided is was time to have it sealed. Attorney Alexander Conley assisted our client in navigating the proper procedures to seal this record, and to provide all the necessary documentation to the Office of the Commissioner of Probation. Our client's petition to seal was accepted, thus ensuring that, in most circumstances, the record will no longer be accessible.
